PANIC 03:25
Stuck in your circles, you can’t see the end. They’re walking behind you; the PANIC sets in. You think that it’s over, you can’t see the end, You PANIC, you PANIC, you start to pretend The ending is coming, don’t know when it is. You PANIC, you PANIC, and now we begin. And I am just one more liar you can’t trust And fall back to the Earth again For the first time, for the last time. You’re sinking inside. You know it’s a sin. You think that it’s over, the PANIC sets in. You’re fighting the battles, you’ve lost all the wars. You don’t remember where you are or what you’re fighting for. You reach for the guns, you can’t find where you’ve been. It’s over, it’s over, the PANIC is here and you know that you’ve lost all your friends. And I am just one more liar you can’t trust And fall back to the Earth again For the first time, for the last time. “Where have you been?” “We know where you’ve been.” “It’s time to begin.” And the PANIC sets in… Wait. And I am just one more liar you can’t trust And fall back to the Earth again For the first time, for the last time. The PANIC, the PANIC begins. And I’m just one more liar. The PANIC, the PANIC begins. And I’m just one more…

“I remember you, do you remember me?” These are the words we say, these are the lies we keep. We are the shaking dawn, we are the lonely night. We are the reveille to all the fading light. And I’ll take this to my grave: “You can’t love what you won’t save.” All our friends are enemies now Living just to turn back time, But we know who we really are And we don’t say goodbye. We stay in different cities and hours, Take up different space and time, But we know who we really are And we don't say goodbye. This is the last goodnight. This is the final fight. We could be something…. But I can’t remember anymore. I’m an unidentified object, And we are dying to entertain, But if we go down in fire and blood Then you all know who to blame. So pull apart the transmissions, Black out the system and the name. We can take it too far, too fast, too far, But nothing will ever change… And I thought I’d something more to say, But fuck it, I’ve got bills to pay. All our friends are enemies now Living just to turn back time, But we know who we really are And we don’t say goodbye. We stay in different cities and hours, Take up different space and time, But we know who we really are And we don't say goodbye. I remember you. Do you remember? All our friends are enemies now Living just to turn back time, But we know who we really are And we don’t say goodbye. We stay in different cities and hours, Take up different space and time, But we know who we really are And we don't say goodbye. Even if we know the way back home, This world doesn’t let us leave alone. The mountain blinks in time, And we don’t say goodbye.

Cut this year out, make it go away. Take my lungs out, put the memories away. What made your soul cave in? Who’s gonna bury you? Who’s gonna bury you? What made your soul cave in? Who’s gonna bury you? Who’s gonna bury you Tonight? I know you wanna fight The demon in your spine Waiting inside for what you never had to hide. Cut this year out. Cut this year out. Cut this year out. Cut. What made your soul cave in? Who’s gonna bury you? Who’s gonna bury you? What made your soul cave in? Who’s gonna bury you? Who’s gonna bury you Tonight? As I walk through the ruins of this plague swept city, doctors and lawyers and nurses surround us in lock-step time. And all the preacher-politicians and patron fakes and painted saints prattle on, as the last 250 years fall away like ashes from your grandmother’s cigarettes, and you forgot she’d even smoked in the first place. The horizontals and the verticals are irrelevant, as every hyperlink and “citation needed” fall away into a perfect void of powered protein shakes and injectable regrets. Genuflect before their monolithic edifice, just so long as someone gets fucking paid. A plague on all your houses, a plague on all your fallen kings, a plague on all you love and dread and hope and fear. We ARE Ozymandius, king of kings; behold our works, ye mighty, and despair. And who’s gonna bury you? Who’s gonna bury you? WHO’S GONNA BURY YOU? And will you bury me too?

Arsonists 04:24
I should call up my sister, just to tell her I miss her. I’ll make myself a transistor, just to keep this thing alive. I can’t be a resister with my fist raised towards the sky forever, But for now we keep on fighting, keep on fighting every night. Do you have a confession? Maybe another opinion? Is there something we’re missing? Oh god, we know what it is, what it is: If time is just another burden, There’s no point in anything we’ve earned, So just take it. Or maybe just fake this. We can’t keep running forever. So down we go together. Days go by, the world keeps starting fires, So why can’t I stop trying? We’re still alive, and this city’s full of liars; We know the sky is falling. Can we make a decision, Or just live in division? There’s no more supposition, This is the last ride now, right now. There’s a divide in our mission: It’s keeping up appearances that’s causing distraction. And to die for one more cause we don’t believe in? Well, I’m out. We can’t keep running forever. So down we go together. Days go by, the world keeps starting fires, So why can’t I stop trying? We’re still alive, and this city’s full of liars; We know the sky is falling. The sky is falling, tomorrow’s calling, So down we go together. We are alive, so we still try, And down we go together.

Go go go, where the sky’s not deep enough to show, And just go go go, oh no… Well I’ve been looking for an answer, just ignoring all the questions From the center of my system; I’m still seeking out the symptoms. It’s not a case of hubris or a failed show of redemption, It’s just years of apathy coalescing into my apprehension. You know I’m right, We have to fight. We’re gonna make it tonight. Just go go go, where the sky’s not deep enough to show, And just go go go, where no map or satellite can know. We can run or we can fight, any way to reach another star And just go go go, oh no. Checking all the engines, realigning every moment Into an anthem, maybe epic, or just another rejected notion. We’re two moving targets, our crosshairs adding up to nothing, We can get by if we can just keep it all in motion. You know I’m right, We have to fight. We’re gonna make it tonight. Just go go go, where the sky’s not deep enough to show, And just go go go, where no map or satellite can know. We can run or we can fight, any way to reach another star And just go go go, oh no. It’s about walking the line, And what you left behind. You can’t even imagine. We’re standing on the edge, And it’s already happening again and again… All my friends are enemies, They stalk through memories with knives, And when I said that I’m better now, Well, I lied, I lied, I lied. Just go go go, where the sky’s not deep enough to show, And just go go go, where no map or satellite can know. We can run or we can fight, any way to reach another star And just go go go, oh no.
7.
I don’t have a life, just outdated cartography. I’m calling my biography “It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time.” I’ve lost some blood along the way, Along with friends I can’t replaced, So give it up for one more chance at making something worth this. So let’s hear it for the blackened lung, for the lost remorse, and the broken home, And the last few years are gone, long gone away. Optimism’s in short supply, being positive has passed me by, And I can’t help the feeling that I’m always in my own way. So take this, and break it, We all know it’s just another reason For you to complain. We’ll make it, or fake it, It’s all so relative, And then ending is always the same. We move on til the light’s gone, And it’s one more night spent waiting for a fall. So we move on til the light’s gone, And it’s one more night spent waiting for a fall. And maybe I’ll still be alive this fall. It’s like 495 in the back of my head, Saying “Everything’s old and the future is dead.” And I know that you don’t care, I know that you don’t understand. And I may be heartless, but I don’t need an anchor, So here’s to the night I let go of my anger. And I know that don’t care, I know that you don’t understand.

The Seaward 03:27
You’ve got a lot of nerve… No more time to waste, no more time to waste, on you. (Cause you’ve made it very clear) When you try to say, when you try to say, You have better things to do. Well we’ve tried to make it work as long as we could, But you never did the things you said that you would. We’re not worth your time, you’ve crossed the line, You’re the reason nothing’s fine. You’ve got a lot of nerve just to blame it all on us, We don’t deserve all the things that you have done. So get your act together, take a second and think it through. We’ve all got our problems, and today this one is you. We were hoping maybe you would see: You’re not who you used to be. All your cheap charades and your pity parades Won’t help you get your way. I better watch my mouth before war breaks out, But that’s something you can’t live without. You’ve got a lot of nerve just to blame it all on us, We don’t deserve all the things that you have done. So get your act together, take a second and think it through. We’ve all got our problems, and today this one is you. This is the new year, it’s time for a new start, A stronger resistance that is meant for the heart. I can’t keep pretending that I can keep mending All of these things until they tear me apart. You’ve got a lot of nerve just to blame it all on us, We don’t deserve all the things that you have done. So get your shit together, because the rest of us are through. We’ve all got our problems, and today? FUCK YOU! You’ve got a lot of nerve just to blame it all on us, We don’t deserve all the things that you have done. So get your act together, take a second and think it through. We’ve all got our problems. Today, it’s you.

Standing on the corner in a broken down phone booth, Staring at the sky looking for answers in the off-shoots. Cops and capes and chaos always running through my bedroom, But there’s no answers there. I was down with every single word, And I don’t know if you heard, And in time I realized it never got that far. So we wait for another nothing. We can’t keep waiting too long. There’s nothing out there, no one’s listening. We go on alone. So keep counting up the minutes, every dollar, every damage, Til the idol that you’ve built outstrips the notion that you’ve caged in, A complex so devout you can’t believe belief can cave in, Until it’s all you see. And it’s “Stand Up, Kneel Down, Everybody Sing Now! Obey Obey Obey, and don’t you even try to think now!” No, I’m not part of your tribe. It’s not for me. It’s not for me. So we wait for another nothing. We can’t keep waiting too long. There’s nothing out there, no one’s listening. We go on alone. “Just breathe in, you can’t know it all. Just breathe in. You’ll never know. Just breathe in, you can’t know it all. You can’t know, you’ll never know.” I wanna know where the story goes, where the moral goes. Where do my answers go? I wanna know where the anthem goes. Where does it go? Where does my anthem go? I wanna know. What do you know? Fuck what you know. I wanna know….

I stayed the night, you stayed a moment. I could be wrong here, but it’s the way I remember. This is the time, this is forever, This is where past and present and future collide. Take my hand, we’ll get it right; Planets ahead, and all the stars aligned. We are the ones who know the fight. We’ll get there, we’ll get there tonight. I stayed the night, you stayed forever. All I can say is that nothing else matters. Second star, straight on til morning. The rockets fire without any warning. The moment’s here, ideas are forming. It’s all about time, yours and mine. I stayed the night, you stayed forever. All I can say is that nothing else matters. You are the star that shines brightest in my sky. You are the anthem, you are the light. It’s all about time, yours and mine. I stayed the night, you stayed forever. All I can say is that nothing else matters. You are the star that shines brightest in my sky. You are the anthem, you are the light. You are the anthem, you are the light. You are my anthem, you are my light. I stayed the night, you stayed forever…

This is the PANIC we live, it’s the pattern we trust. Fight off the demons inside you. Who’s gonna break your walls? Can you even break at all? Can you see what’s behind you? And it’s gone… Just another faded memory That we can’t afford to keep. And we’re fighting on. And it’s gone… The war is neverending On all that we’re defending And we’re fighting on. We’ll make our own way Through all the darkness and decay. We sing on and on and on, Though all we’re singing for is gone, Because we’re all gonna die someday. Some day… And it’s gone… Just another faded memory That we can’t afford to keep. And we’re fighting on. And it’s gone… The war is neverending On all that we’re defending And we’re fighting on. There’s no heroes, there’s no gods. There’s no one waiting we can trust. If it’s a battle that we face, Then take up arms! We can resist and defy the ones who’ve taken your soul. Everyone join this fight, it’s time we take back control. It’s time to run to the light, it’s time to even the score. This is the battle cry, this is the march to war.
